This course is specifically designed for licensed funeral directors and students in the funeral service industry, aiming to provide valuable insights and practical strategies for achieving a healthy work/life balance. Participants will discuss challenges unique to the funeral service profession and learn effective techniques to maintain personal well-being while fulfilling professional responsibilities. In this seminar you’ll learn how to find work - Life balance in funeral service. Michelle explains her methods of receiving the family "buy-in" and how to make a plan each season that aligns with your families’ goals and needs. Although, this seminar is not a technical embalming training, many students and embalmers alike will find great value in this presentation and be able to apply these techniques at home with their own families to avoid burnout and resentment with their spouses and children while still providing quality service to the families they serve.
